Ball Engineer II Ohio

Ref. NM 1026C | Calibre ETA 2824 Automatic | Diameter 38mm

This Engineer II Ohio refers to the history of Ball watches and its role in making the American Railroads more safe (see sidebar). On the case back there is a beautiful  embossed drawing of a train. Ball is also known for its tritium tubes as a means to make the dial more visible in dark surroundings. Notice the vertical tubes that function as the time markers on this watch. Magnificent. You can also find them on the hands of the watch. At the back of the seconds hand you will find the famous 'RR'.
