Eterna-Matic Anatomic (1971)

Ref. 153T | Calibre Eterna 1541

The Anatomic was Eterna's answer to the huge success of the Omega Genève Dynamic . A wristwatch inspired by the anatomy of the human wrist and the promise of offering the ultimate experience in wearing the watch. Hence the oval case.

Eterna-Matic

In 1948 Eterna advanced self-winding watch technology with the development of the Eterna-Matic automatic movement. The use of five ball bearings reduced friction and resistance  on the oscillating weight that wound the mainspring. Its popularity was such that in 1948 Eterna adopted the image of five balls as its corporate logo.
