Tissot PR 516 Mechanical Series

The PR-series is one of the Tissot collections which is still being made today. The PR stands for 'Particulier Robuste' which means they were very precise and robust watches that could take a beating. The PR516 was introduced in 1965 and had it's styling origins in motorsport in the 60's. 


Tissot PR 516 Automatic (1974)

A typical product of the 70's. A robust stainless steel Tissot with date function and sweep seconds hand. Beautifull integrated case and bracelet. Reference 44919.

This Tissot is powered by the automatic calibre 2481 movement, jointly developed by Omega and Tissot, produced from 1972 until 1980. The cooperation between Omega and Tissot is also visible on the stainless steel bracelet. It is an Omega nr 32 1181/215 signed bracelet and has an original Tissot clasp.
